Spring 2011 registration

See the overall schedule for Time Ticket Advance Registration. You can also view your specific Time Ticket via my.UIC.edu. At the Academics tab, select Registration, then Check Registration Eligibility. Be sure to take notice of any Holds you may have.

Fall 2011 tution and fee refund deadline is Friday, September 2, 2011, 11:59 pm

The last day to cancel your registration with a full refund of tuition and fees is Friday, September 2, 2011, at 11:59 pm.  Note that after the first day of instruction, the Business Office applies a $50 Administrative Fee and if student health insurance is not waived, Campus Care will apply a $50 cancelation fee.  Please note that you should drop all but your last class, then select "Cancel Registration/Withdraw from Term" to communicate your wish to cancel all registrations.  The Registration Office will cancel registrations within 2 business days of the "Cancel Registratio

"Where's My Diploma?"

If you have graduated and/or you have ordered a duplicate diploma, you can check the status of your diploma.

(Please note: for degrees earned prior to Fall 2004, your Social Security Number is required; for Fall 2004 and after, your University Identification number is required.)

Important Information for the Upcoming Fall 2011 Graduating Class

Once you have submitted your Intent to Graduate please make sure that you are aware of how your name will appear on your diploma.

If your name is spelled incorrectly or you wish to add an accent mark or additional name please fill out and return to the Records Department the Current Student Diploma Name Change form which can be found on the web at www.uic.edu/depts/oar/forms/csdnchange.pdf.

All name change information must be submitted to the Records Department of OAR no later than the last day of term for most colleges with the exception of the College of Medicine and College of Dentistry. These two colleges need to have these forms submitted to the Records Department.

Spring 2010 registration starts today

Banner Self Service and Transcript Ordering down Oct 16 through Oct 18

To complete an upgrade to the Student Information System, Banner Self-Service will be unavailable and Transcript ordering functions will be delayed October 16 through October 18, 2009. You can view a check status web page to determine when Banner and Self-Service functions will be back in action.

Mid-Term grading for 100 and 200 level courses

Starting in Fall 2009, although it is not mandatory, all Instructors have been asked to provide mid-term grades for students in 100- and 200- level courses. Information on mid-term grading can found at Mid-Term grading.

Campus Care deadline for Spring 2010

The deadline to opt out of the $401 Campus Care student health insurance for Spring 2010 is February 7, 2010.

College approval for drops through the tenth week of Spring 2010

All requests to drop a class must be made with college approval after Friday, January 22, 2010. See details on the ten week drop policy. The last day to drop a course with college approval is Friday, March 19, 2010.

All courses dropped after Friday, January 22, 2010, 11:59 pm, will receive a W grade and tuition and fee charges do not adjust.
